Jim Drew is a senior marketing executive who helps innovative organizations design, launch, and scale solutions that drive meaningful impact. With more than two decades of experience across both early-stage startups and billion-dollar enterprises, Jim brings a rare blend of strategic insight, creative execution, and commercial discipline to every engagement.
Throughout his career, Jim has led marketing, growth, and product strategy for organizations across insurance, reinsurance, life science, healthtech, and insurtech. He has operated on both ends of the industry—building from the ground up inside emerging startups and modernizing legacy platforms within established payers and enterprise environments. Jim’s healthcare expertise spans captives, stop loss, excess of loss, ancillary benefits, administration, distribution, and cost-management solutions, giving him a true 360-degree view of today’s evolving healthcare ecosystem.
Jim has held senior leadership roles within organizations backed by Blue Cross Blue Shield, Allianz, BCS Financial, Stone Point Capital, Sandbox Industries, and the Blue Venture Fund. Most recently, he served as CMO for a next-generation captive benefits platform, Chief Growth Officer for a life-science-driven specialty-care access startup, Senior Vice President of Marketing for an $800M insurance and reinsurance enterprise, and President of a joint venture embedding digital insurance distribution into regional health systems and health plans.
In 2023, Jim launched drew.health, where he provides executive-level marketing and advisory leadership to founders, executive teams, and boards seeking to align strategy, story, and growth.
